The plain version of what you agree to when you buy from Rug Store, and what we promise back.

Who you're buying from
Every order on Rug Corner (rugcorner.in) is with Rug Store, a sole proprietorship registered at 690, Block 23, Ashiana Umang Mahindra Sez Road, Ashiana Umang, Jaipur, Rajasthan, 302026, GSTIN 08ANRPJ7569B1ZK — “we” on this page.
Orders
An order is accepted when we send you the confirmation email. Prices are in rupees and include GST; a GST invoice is issued for every order — on your order page once it is delivered, and linked from the delivery email; a guest order’s invoice is sent on request.
If a price or stock error slips through, we tell you before dispatch and refund anything you have paid — we never ship something at a price we did not mean.
Payment
Pay online through Razorpay — UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets — or by cash on delivery on ready-made pieces. Custom orders are confirmed by a 10 % advance instead. Card and bank details go to Razorpay, never to us.
Delivery
Delivery is free across India. Times and address changes are on the Shipping & delivery page.
Handmade variance
Our pieces are made by hand. Colours and sizes can differ a little from the photos — a few centimetres, a shade — and that is the hand in handmade, not a fault. A piece that arrives damaged or is not what you ordered is another matter: see Returns.
Returns
10 days from delivery, unused, in the original packing. The details — how, refunds, what cannot be returned — are on the Returns & refunds page.
Custom-made pieces
A custom piece is made to your quote, after you accept it and pay the advance shown on it (10 % of the quote). The balance is due on delivery. Because each one is made for you, a custom piece is not returnable unless it is faulty.
Your account
Keep your sign-in to yourself — the code we send to your mobile number is yours alone. We may close an account that is used to abuse the shop or other customers.
Our content
The photos and text on this site are ours or used with permission. Ask before reusing them — we usually say yes.
Liability
As far as the law allows, our liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing on this page takes away what Indian consumer law gives you.
Law and disputes
Indian law applies, and disputes are for the courts of Jaipur. Write to us first — most things are sorted in a conversation.
